1. Why dive with Worldwide Dive and Sail?
This is a very good question. With the plethora of liveboards that have sprung up around the world there are consequently varying levels of service and quality on offer to the modern diver. Ranging from good, hit and miss, to seriously dodgy or even worse, the unsafe. We recognize these disparities and have thus responded by creating the most ultimate experience on our yachts, with innovative facilities and the highest level of service that is both professional yet personal. Safety is a major concern for our company and is always placed first. Thus to date we have a spotless safety record. Furthermore, we want to share diving with all. This is why we provide facilties for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. We also regulate our rates in order to offer affordable high standards; we refuse to charge exorbitant rates like some other liveaboards. Ultimately, all our crew look forward to warmly welcome you aboard one of our yachts.

2. What should I bring on a liveaboard?
We recommend that you bring as little as possible! Please bring your personal diving gear (except tanks and weights) if own any, or if you prefer to travel light you are welcome to use our diving equipment. Personal clothing items including bathing suit, t-shirts, shorts one sweater and/or light cotton pants for the evenings, which can sometimes be cooler. Any personal amenities or required medication. For sun protection please bring a hat, sunscreen. For your own leisure you may wish to bring reading material. We do have a selection of games on board our yachts as well.

3. I don't own any dive equipment. What can you provide?
No problem. We provide all guests with the option to use our dive equipment. We offer for free the use of wetsuits, BCD's, regulators and fins. We have a large variety of sizes to suit any guests needs.

4. I have lots of luggage from my extended holiday. Do you have storage for luggage I do not need whilst I am on my Worldwide Dive and Sail trip?
Of course, this is not a problem. We offer all guests secure storage at our Worldwide Dive and Sail Office in Chalong, Phuket. For trips departing from other destinations, please contact us and we will assist you with your needs.

5. What kind of food is served?
Our dishes range from mild Thai and Indonesian dishes to Western cuisine. We have a variety of fresh fruit available at all times on both yachts. We ensure that all dishes are served with the freshest vegetables and highest quality seafood and meats. There is always a range of dishes served at each mealtime to ensure that all guests are satisfied and full!

6. What if I have specific food requirements?
If you have any food allergies, special requirements or you are a vegetarian, please inform us at the start of the trip and our cooks we will ensure that there are plenty of dishes to suit your needs.

7. What kind of power outlets do you have on your yachts?
On both our yachts we have both 220V / 50Hz and 24V / 60Hz available. Please make sure you bring universal adapters with you.

8. How many dives can I do in one day?
Guests are always encouraged to dive at their own pace with as little or as many dives to suit your day. We normally schedule 4 dives per day with optional night dives. However we are suitable to accommodate for more or less dives per day pending the wishes of the guests onboard. Of course, safety is always our main priority regarding multiple dives in one day.

9. Do I have to dive with a Worldwide Dive and Sail tour leader?
Due to the nature of some of our dive sites, we do recommend for the safety and satisfaction of divers that they stay with a Worldwide Dive and Sail tour leader. However, if the cruise director is satisfied with the experience of the divers and the nature of the dive site, divers will be allowed to dive without a tour leader.

10. Is there a required level of dive certification or experience to join your trips?
Absolutely not! All levels of divers are welcome aboard our yachts. Whether be complete beginners to experienced dive professionals, we will cater for your dive needs. We often teach the Open Water Course (beginners course) during the trip to guests who were previously non-divers. However, for some destinations we do recommend that Open Water divers consider pursuing the Advanced Open Water course during the trip. This will allow the diver to increase their knowledge and experience of diving, as well as enabling the diver to get the most out of their dives.

11. What is the custom regarding tipping the staff and crew?
Tipping is a matter of personal choice. You may wish to if you feel that the Asian staff or Western crew have made your holiday extra special.
