Specialised diving around Thailand!
At Worldwide Dive and Sail, all our instructors are highly specialized in a number of areas and are more than happy to share their knowledge with you. We offer a wide variety of PADI Specialties that allows you to specialize in a particular area of diving. These courses include Enriched Air Nitrox, Underwater Navigation, Underwater Photography, Underwater Videography, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Wreck Diving, Multilevel, just to name a few!
Here are details of a few of our most popular Specialty Courses:
Deep Dive Specialty -
Go to the max!!! With the Deep Dive Speciality, we go to the maximum depth of recreational diving to 40 metres! Whether it’s the curiosity of what the deep blue yonder holds or a wreck that you want to explore, deep diving opens up so many more diving possibilities.
Our PADI Deep Specialty course teaches you to understand risks at depth, manage them and learn how to dive safely to a maximum depth of 40 metres. This is a no-decompression diving course.
At Worldwide Dive and Sail, we advise that all divers take the Deep Specialty in order to make the most of the diving on the West Coast, and to dive safely on the deeper dive sites we visit.

Underwater Digital Photography Specialty -
Whether you are snorkeling, exploring reefs, under ice or on wrecks; if there's something worth seeing, there's something worth photographing. Marine photographs are an excellent way to share your experience with other divers and to reveal the secrets of the underwater world with non-divers as well.
The dive sites we visit are ideal for teaching underwater photography, with excellent visibility, calm waters and variety and abundance of sea creatures and coral life.
You'll learn the basics of underwater photography such as composition, film type and camera handling, with special emphasis on practical techniques. You'll learn underwater photography dive planning, organization, procedures, techniques and potential problems. You'll also learn how to care for and maintain your camera equipment.

Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty – Available only on the S/Y Siren
Want to extend your bottom time? Diving on Enriched Air Nitrox is diving with higher percentages of oxygen than normal compressed air. By introducing more oxygen into your breathing mix, your nitrogen levels are reduced so your allowable bottom time increases, i.e. you can stay down longer!
Nitrox is extremely beneficial for the recreational diver, particularly diving between 15 and 40 metres. And if you’re doing more than one dive in a day, the benefit on subsequent dives is enormous.
